Guided birdwatching walks in Brisbane's south-west

Wren & Friends runs small, private birdwatching tours across the wetlands and reserves of Brisbane's south-west. Walks are unhurried, sensory-friendly, and built with beginners in mind. Ideal as an NDIS outdoor activity for participants using self-managed or plan-managed funding.

Beginner birdwatching, done properly

You don't need to know a magpie from a butcherbird. Your guide handles the identification, shows you what to look for, and hands you binoculars when a bird appears. First-timers welcome.

NDIS outdoor activities

Designed for NDIS participants and their carers. Two-hour sessions, quiet surroundings, flat and wheelchair-accessible tracks. Serving self-managed and plan-managed participants across Brisbane.

Genuinely private tours

A maximum of two participants plus carers per walk. No crowds, no rushing, no fifteen strangers in a line. It stays calm and focused so everyone can actually see the birds.
